For our camera calibration, we used our Hewlett-Packard digital camera
and a spectroradiometer. When gathering data, each was affixed to a camera
mount with a steady light source.
We first took readings of the Macbeth ColorChecker with the spectroradiometer,
and converted the output to XYZ values. We next took an image using the
camera of the entire Macbeth ColorChecker

Using software provided to us by Michael
Bax, we isolated the nonlinear RGB values of each swatch on the chart.
