Condensed Abstract:

The system that we will model and analyze in this project is a new high-speed digital sensing solution-reflective imaging system for real-time misprint detection in short-run printing presses. In total we analyzed two reflective systems-spherical mirror and paraboloidal mirror and compared them with conventional and near contact imaging systems. We found that although reflective imaging systems have advantage in photon collection due to their small f/#, they suffers from blurring also because of the small f/#. By carefully evaluating this, we provide the solutions finally.
