Abstract
We developed test images from Matlab, and sent the digital JPEG files to various online Photo Printing companies. They were Ofoto, ShutterFly, PhotoNet (Kodak), PhotoAccess, and Cartogra (HP). We investigated parameters such as color balancing, noise addition, spatial frequency, and red eyes. These companies produced photographs that were quite different from each other, and methods were developed to illustrate and discuss the difference between the photographs.
